Fix finished.

Carpenters have been back to finish off the last jobs and plaster is finished. Just the door on the room under the stairs and a second manhole to be completed tomorrow. Painters are due to start after the long weekend and will take about two weeks.  Floor tiles have been delivered. Front door is on.  They have removed a hebel panel from the front door for some reason. Drain pipes are on but not connected and the steel beams in the alfresco have been covered and clad. 

First 2014 Post. Work re-commenced this week

Incredibly hot conditions this week with 40+ degrees every day! even in Ballarat. Makes our decision to spend the extra $$ on the add-on cooling completely justified. The evaporative coolers just don't work when the high temperatures are sustained over multiple days.  Anyway, the stairs have been completed, the rest of the bathroom cabinets installed upstairs and the garage and alfresco have been plastered. The gas line was installed today, workers were just leaving as we got there today. Next week the fit will be completed and the painters start on 28/1/14.  Painting will take about two weeks and the final plumbing, electrical, bench tops, etc will be done along with tiling of the wet areas. At this point we are looking at mid- late March for handover.
